With D-⁠Money, send money anywhere in the Republic of Djibouti from your account: to your friends, your children or your parents. No need to travel, and no internet connection needed thanks to the USSD service *111#.

Before you confirm, a summary shows the recipient’s name and the amount to transfer. If you made a mistake, you can cancel the transaction and start again.

Good to know

  • Money transfers are free.
  • You can also send money to someone who doesn’t have a D-⁠Money account: they receive a withdrawal code by SMS and show it to a D-⁠Money agent to collect the money.
  • You receive a confirmation SMS with the amount sent and the details of the transaction.

How to send money

  1. 1Open the D-Money app and log in with your phone number (e.g. 25377…) and your PIN.
  2. 2On the home screen, tap “Transfer”.
  3. 3Enter the amount and the recipient’s phone number (e.g. 77…).
  4. 4Check the payment details, then confirm.
  5. 5You receive a receipt and a confirmation SMS.
